Job Description
Paediatric (NeuroJunior) Clinical Snapshot:
The primary focus of this role is on supporting children and young people under 25.
Our family and child-centred approach supports choice that makes sense for the whole family unit. We work with families to overcome the challenges as a result of a range of neurological conditions such as:
Spina bifida
Cerebral palsy
Muscular dystrophy
Down syndrome (Trisomy 21)
Complex syndromes
Acquired Brain Injury (ABI)
Developmental delay
Autism Spectrum Disorder
We prioritise innovation and evidence-based practice- making therapy fun to get the most out of every day, in environments that are meaningful for each child.
The paediatric role would likely entail working with some adult clientele as well - we are very open to supporting experienced paediatric therapists to expand their skillsets into this area.
Adult (NeuroRehab) Caseload Snapshot:
We’re looking for creative and confident Occupational Therapist to support our clients living with:
Stroke
Spinal cord injury
Traumatic brain injury
MS
MND
Cerebral palsy
Intellectual disability, and other neurological conditions. We only accept clients that have a neurology component as their primary disability – If Neuro is your thing, we are your organisation.
You’ll have the opportunity to:
Deliver OT assessments, interventions, education, and reports
Prescribe and apply for assistive technology
Develop expertise in home modifications
Support long-term, person-centred therapy goals
Collaborate with a tight-knit multidisciplinary team
Supervise junior clinicians (senior positions)
Be innovative and tailor your therapy approach
Work with clients funded under NDIS, TAC, My Aged Care and private programs.

Desired Skills and Experience
Requirements
Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist.
2+ years of Occupational Therapy experience, with a focus on supporting children and young people under 18 for the NeuroJunior role.
Successful candidates are required to undertake a Police Check, Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screen.
COVID-19 and Influenza vaccination.
Desirable
Experience working within a NDIS framework.
Familiarity, knowledge and understanding of prescribing a range of assistive technology.
Understanding and awareness of supporting neurodivergence and family centred practice
