Job Description
Occupational Therapist roles at NeuroRehab (New Grad / Early Career / Senior / Team Leader).
We have opportunities in both the West (Deer Park, Melton, Werribee) and the North (Thomastown, Tullamarine, Bulleen)
An exciting opportunity is available due to team growth! We're seeking creative and confident Occupational Therapist's to join our supportive and growing multidisciplinary team.
The caseload will be working with the adult population and assisting people with traumatic brain injury, stroke, spinal cord injury, MS, cerebral palsy, intellectual disability, and a diverse range of other neurological impairments. The Occupational Therapy position within the neurological disability space is challenging, yet rewarding, allowing clinicians to be innovative and provide tailored programs. If you want to establish long-term plans with your clients to help them achieve their goals, we would love to hear from you.
Clinical snapshot:
Delivery of therapeutic services including OT assessments, interventions, treatment planning, education, and reporting.
Prescription and funding requests of AT as required.
Support clients with a person-centred approach, to promote inclusion and new possibilities.
Collaborate with a well-structured multidisciplinary team.
Supervision of less experienced OTs (Seniors & Team Leaders)

Our clients are predominantly NDIS participants and some TAC and My Aged Care-funded clients.
Desired Skills and Experience
Requirements
AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist.
Completion of Occupational Therapy degree or equivalent.
Successful candidates are required to undertake a Police Check, Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screen.
COVID-19 and Influenza vaccination.
Desirable
Experience working within an NDIS framework.
Familiarity, knowledge and understanding of prescribing a range of assistive technology.
