Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and innovative Physiotherapist to join our Thomastown team. The role is open to full time applicants, but 4 day a week will also be considered. NeuroRehab Allied Health Network specialises in neurological conditions & injuries. We work with people with traumatic brain injury, stroke, spinal cord injury, MS, Parkinson’s disease, cerebral palsy, and a range of other neurological impairments.
Key Responsibilities
Assess and implement tailored physiotherapy programs.
Manage day-to-day client caseload to support goals and outcomes with a person-centred approach, to promote inclusion and new possibilities.
Collaborate with a well-structured multidisciplinary team to provide holistic therapy.
NeuroRehab Career Pathways
At NeuroRehab, we are committed to your career growth and have established career pathways to accommodate your interests. The Career Pathways we have developed at NeuroRehab allow team members the option between three different streams:
Management - Interests in leading and managing a team of therapists
Education - Interests in students/supervision and in-service preparations
Clinical Passion - Becoming an expert in a specific treatment area
New Physiotherapy team members are provided with regular supervision, regular tutorials and in services and you will also join our multidisciplinary Nest Program which focusses on some of the non-clinical knowledge and skills needed for working in the NDIS and community. You will also be provided with a peer support therapist, providing you support during your initial months as a clinician.
Desired Skills and Experience
Employment requirements
AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist
Highly knowledgeable in a wide range of evidence-based physiotherapy
Driver's license
Internet access (for times you decide to work from home!)
Successful candidates are required to undertake a Police Check, Working With Children Check and NDIS Worker Screen Check.
Up-to-date COVID-19 (3 doses) and Influenza vaccinations
Desirable
Experience working within the NDIS framework.
Minimum 1-2 years experience
